This is clearly a group of Scouts before their uniform was changed. They are wearing the "bush type" hats as originally used by Lord Baden Powell (founder of the Scout Movement). I would guess that these were members of the group associated with St.Mary's Church. I am sure others will be able to add names.
I think that the lad kneeling far right is me (Dave Stevenson). Standing far left is Mick Lowe, 2nd from the left is Mick Porter (His dad was the Station Warrant Officer at RAF Hucknall) next to him is Michael Shelley who I think still lives in Hucknall. It was indeed the 2nd Hucknall scouts which were the the St Mary's troop. We used to meet at the National School. The scout master was Mr Galally and later Ron? Green
